Who we are: A group of school librarians from around the state of Virginia. Come join us!


Why did we create this list? We saw the need for a diverse list of children's books that are also great read aloud books. We kept thinking, why isn’t there a list? Why doesn’t someone create one? Then we realized that WE could create one, so we did. We nominated titles, discussed them and voted on them. Now you have our list here. We are a work in progress.
